Leading a Scout Troop
My daughter has been in the same girl scout for four years now since she was a Brownie. Last week her leader informed us that her husband has been transferred to Germany for the next two years and the whole family is going. In a moment of weakness I agreed to take the troop over so the girls can stay together. I’m excited but I am also scared. Now I have to come up with activities for the girls to do on a weekly basis. The current leader will slowly turn the reins over to me so I can see how everything is done while she is still around. The first thing I need to do is purchase some beginner needlepoint kits. The girls must complete this type of project to earn a badge and I have experience doing needlepoint so it is a great place to start.
