Best Teacher Ever
I memorized everything I know about cooking from my mother. If not for her, I wouldn’t know how to butterfly and debone a chicken. She perpetually used to say that not even the best rice cookers in the world could assist a person if they weren’t interested in cooking in the least. I’ve retained those words whenever I cook a meal. I learned that it genuinely makes a difference whether I’m cooking for friends or strangers. You can’t prove it scientifically, but you can tell when the cook cares about the food. In fact, I have my own saying now. It likely sounds cheesy, but love tastes finer than even the best caviar.
