My boyfriend dragged me out to play golf with him today even though I’d told him that it was going to rain. Sure enough, about the 5th hole, not even his galvin green waterproof trousers could keep him dry. I had already gone back to the car and was reading a book when he came storming back to meet me. I just looked at him and grinned. I did, however, refrain from saying ” I told you so” which was a great accomplishment on my part. I did promise him that we’d try it again next weekend when it was bright and sunny.
